Destiny’s Foundation CEO Shanell Powell was visiting her home town when she was able to engage the principal at a local high school and was asked to speak with a group of Black and Latinx young women about her upbringing in the community and how she obtains the skills necessary to believe in herself.

During the meeting she was able to empower and inspire them to eliminate limiting beliefs by knowing who they are and the value that they bring to every space they take up.

The criticality to reach back and propel forward is fundamental to the viability of a better tomorrow.
